Bishops' Statement on the Environment
Working to promote greater care for the environment, the Catholic Bishops of Washington State have released a statement on “Catholic Principles and Environmental Policy.” Released on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of the environment, the statement draws upon the consistent teaching on environmental issues shared by leaders of the Catholic Church from Blessed Pope Paul VI to St. John Paul II to Pope Francis.  ~WSCC on 10/5/2018

Are you called to ministry with the incarcerated? Is your parish called to the “One Parish, One Prisoner” re-entry initiative? Please join us for a special panel of speakers of former jail/prison inmates and family members who will courageously share their stores of incarceration and experiences of re-entry. Join us and jumpstart your discernment process. Prison ministry volunteers will be available for questions and networking. Updated Catechetical Certification Program (CCP)
CCP is a foundational, sequential, and pastoral program for all parish staff and volunteers who teach the Catholic Faith. This 8-12 month program will be offered in multiple locations across the archdiocese, and will provide the foundation for knowing and living our Catholic faith. It is a combination of in-person classes, online videos, and a reflection journal. We look forward to seeing you in class soon!  ~Faith Formation on 10/2/2018
