Frequently Asked Questions - Basketball

If I have 6th-8th grade basketball team, how do I know if it is Varsity AAA, Varsity AA or JV?
Why are there times when girls play on Sundays and boys play on Saturdays?
Who Makes Playoffs?
  • 6th Grade boys and girls Varsity
    4+ wins in the regular season, of the counting games (last 7 games played count).
  • 7th and 8th grade AA Divisions
    4+ wins in the regular season, of the counting games (last 7 games played count)
  • 7th and 8th grade AAA Divisions
    All AAA teams will make playoffs.
  • Tacoma/Pierce County Teams
    Representatives from the Tacoma league qualify for the 6th grade and AA tournaments.
  • 3rd-5th grade or JV Basketball
    There are no playoffs.
