Physician-Assisted Suicide

Compassionate Care for the Dying responds to legalization of physician-assisted suicide. Since March 2009, physician-assisted suicide has been legal in Washington State. Our faith and our concern for dignity and the common good motivate us to oppose this law. As Catholic Christians, we are training people throughout Western Washington to be better at providing compassionate care for the dying (or anyone experiencing a serious illness) and their loved ones.
