That All Might Receive His Grace: Theology of Confirmation

Theology of Confirmation

In his proposal to consider lowering the age of Confirmation, Archbishop Sartain asks Pastors and ministers to consider ways they can help ensure that more youth understand the grace that is received from this sacrament. Evaluating the age of Confirmation is only a part of what Archbishop is asking us to consider. He also invites us to renew our familiarity with the theology of the sacrament, with an openness to how the Holy Spirit is active in our lives as we bear witness to Christ for the building up of his Body in faith and love.

We invite you to read the introductory letter from Bishop Mueggenborg as well as the document itself.
