Mission awareness and Catholic social teaching and action

Mission awareness and Catholic social teaching and action are promoted in part through the Good News newsletter and a Missions Office column in The Catholic Northwest Progress. We provide information on volunteer and career resources, and mission education resources. Video and print resources are available for parishes and schools. We have also compiled a list of links of interest. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops provides book, video and other resources at its bookstore.

Please contact our office if you have questions on mission or relief and development organizations, the Church's response to international crises and disasters, or to inquire about any of our programs, resources or services.

Catholic Social Teaching resources for religion teachers, youth ministers and others

We regularly provide mailings with sample and complete resources to parishes and schools, usually directed to the "social ministry contact person." Please contact us if you are a parish or school staff member and wish to know to whom in your community our mailings are sent.
