About the Appeal

The Office of Catholic Faith Formation provides oversight and planning of standards, policies and programs for parish and school Faith Formation
Through our baptism we become an essential part of the Catholic Church
Cultural and Ethnic Ministries provide support to the 44 parishes that have active Hispanic Communities
Catholic Schools form morally centered, faith-filled, confident individuals who are well prepared to meet any academic challenge
The Office of Youth and Young Adult Evangelization hosted weekend confirmation retreats around the archdiocese
Each year hundreds of young men and women responding to God’s call participate in ongoing vocation and discernment programs
Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services has 12 Family Centers with programs designed to stabilize and strengthen families and individuals
Health care is provided for 72 retired priests, and 116 priests are receiving pension benefits
Deacon Frank DiGirolamo from St. Monica Parish, Mercer Island was ordained Oct. 27, 2012 along with 21 other Deacons
There are currently 28 seminarians in our Archdiocese! Father Jose Alvarez was ordained June 2012
Catholic Schools provide high quality of instruction in our 62 elementary/middle schools and 11 high schools
Students in the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese are taught to be vibrant participants in the life of their communities, good citizens, good family members, and generous stewards of God’s gifts
The Office of Catholic Faith Formation provides oversight and planning of standards, policies and programs for lay ministers in the Christifideles program and Lay Ecclesial Ministry
An annual contribution to the National Sisters Retirement fund assists in the retirement needs of sisters in our Archdiocese and throughout the country
