Monica is a native of Washington State – raised in Oak Harbor most of her life until her move to the Eastside/Seattle area in 2003.
She began her ministry in the church following high school graduation and became the Pastoral Assistant for Administration at St. Augustine’s Parish in Oak Harbor, succeeding her mother who worked for the parish for 24 years. Monica brought 18 years of parish administration experience with her when she joined the chancery staff. She began in the Annual Catholic Appeal office as the Administrative Assistant, then Assistant Director, Interim Director and in 2007 became the Director.
Monica teams with the Executive Director and Assistant Director to plan overall direction, planning and supervision of the Annual Catholic Appeal. She is responsible for implementing the plan in order to meet Archdiocesan budget goals and manages and coordinates all internal and logistical operations of the Annual Catholic Appeal.
Maggie has lived in Washington for over 25 years, was raised on Mercer Island, and graduated from Seattle University in 1996. After college, she worked for Boeing for four years, but then received the call to work for the Church. Literally - a phone call from the St. Monica parish secretary, asking if she’d like to interview to take her place.
Maggie brings 9 years of Parish Office experience to the chancery staff, working with the Executive Director and Director in the support, planning and implementation of the Annual Catholic Appeal. Maggie is chiefly responsible for daily communication with parish staff and donors, provides assistance in the creation of ACA materials, and coordinates logistics and materials for leadership training sessions.
Joy was born in the Philippines and raised in Saipan for 16 years before migrating to Seattle in 1992. While in college, she started at the Archdiocese of Seattle as a part-time data entry clerk for the Annual Catholic Appeal. She became a full time Administrative Assistant to the Gift of Faith Campaign in 1998, and was one of the first employees introduced to the Raiser’s Edge database software that is currently utilized throughout the Chancery to maintain and upkeep donor/parishioner information.
After a 6-year hiatus, Joy returned as database coordinator for Planned Giving and the Crozier Society and for the past 4 years has been the Raiser’s Edge Database Coordinator for the Annual Catholic Appeal - responsible for ensuring that the Membership Database is managed effectively and efficiently. She communicates with various Chancery departments, and provides assistance to parish staff in the update process of constituent records. She also produces and distributes reports as needed for Annual Catholic Appeal campaign.
