FORMACIÓN (LC 9,10B-11)
El los tomó consigo y se retiró a un lugar solitario, hacia una ciudad llamada
Betsaída. Pero la gente, al enterarse, lo siguió. Jesús los recibió y
estuvo hablándoles del reino de Dios, y sanando a los que lo necesitaban.
"Formación" significa "aprender como ser hospitalario", fomentando la
comunicación necesaria y las habilidades culturales entre sacerdotes, diáconos, religiosos,
seminaristas y seglares al servicio parroquial, que permitan relacionarnos y servir eficazmente a la
comunidad hispana y otros grupos culturales con un espíritu de acogida. La hospitalidad incluye
también la adaptación o la inculturación de aquellos programas y ministerios
relacionados con ésta área, de manera que la gente pueda aprender del Reino de Dios.
Valor central: una hospitalidad transformadora como elemento esencial para abrazar,
como don Dios, a nuestra cultura humana y a nuestra diversidad étnica y racial.

He took them and withdrew in private to a town called Bethsaida. The crowds, meanwhile, learned
of this and followed him. He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed
those who needed to be cured.
"Formation" means "learning how to be hospitable."
Fostering the necessary communication and cultural skills among our priests, deacons,
religious, seminarians, and lay parish staffs allows us to relate and minister effectively to the
Hispanic community and other cultural groups in a spirit of welcoming. Hospitality also includes the
adaptation or inculturation of those programs and ministries that fall under this area so that the
people can learn about the kingdom of God.
Core value: a transforming hospitality as essential to embrace our human cultural,
ethnic and racial diversity as a gift from God.
