Jerusalem has always been considered a sacred place, a holy city chosen by God for his throne, his dwelling place among his people, the center point from which salvation radiates. Its Temple was considered extraordinarily sacred, a place of attachment and spiritual identity for every Jew.
Jesus went there many times.

St. Therese School will start the 2012–2013 school year with a new name and a new education model.
Thanks to half a million dollars from outside donors (including $300,000 from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) and a partnership with Seton Education Partners, the school will soon be known as St. Therese Catholic Academy, the first "blended technology" Catholic school in the Northwest.
